Hello! My name is Marina, I’m an artist who lives and works in Winterthur, Switzerland.

Art for me is a creative space full of potential to stimulate, heal, inspire, learn, meditate and to lose and find myself. In order to be the art-teacher I want to be, I wish to be able to experience complete fulfillment through creativity. And while I’m on this learning journey, I share and archive as much of it as I can.

I can remember my teenage years as a time of uncertainty and insecurities. But it was also the time where I formed my worldview and I strengthened my voice and my presence in this world. Art actually had a lot to do with this growth, I both learned to express myself and to be aware of my surroundings through first observing artworks very considerately. (An WOW, when I reached the point in art history where everything got super crazy and art could be anything and nothing it really blew my mind!) I was fascinated by trying to read the artists’ motivations, fears and voices.
I can imagine that a lot of creatives share this story of getting hooked. By teaching, I see the opportunity of giving this experience back to the young people and help lighting this spark.
Well that was a mouthful. I just enjoy teaching and accompanying the creative process!

I’m the proud founder and owner of a small business called carrotcrown. Basically I make art, create stationary and sell it all on the internet!
