As long as I can remeber, my mother experiences daily pain and other body sensations, which she can’t word. With this piece of work I’m trying to approach those body sensations via appropriation.
Repeating, transliterating, reading out loud; listening, meditating, appropriating; drawing, writing.
My goal was the appropriation and translation into a (picture) language, an adaptation to my own body as well as leaving room for imagination.

This Animation is about different contemporary attitudes about climate change. I’m confronting false statements about the phenomenon as well as found internet-images, which confirm climate change in it’s cliches. The animation is a digital walk through the main problem of our time. How are we as humans and main polluter dealing with the issue? What kind of images are we producing?
